As the wheel turns toward Samhain, we gather to recognise who we are, honour our journey and those before and after. Our dance in rhythmical steps celebrates our moments in the light and sends our intentions into the flow
Room4Movement is a new monthly dance offering though the winter. A space to move in synchronicity with the our truth. To celebrate our breath and listen inward. Each month brings a new theme to explore through the body; and it is fitting that this is where it begins. ANCESTRAL
This isn’t a class even though we are constantly learning. It’s not a performance even though we show up to serve. It’s a floor to arrive on exactly as you are, and move from there. Guided by sound and rhythm and instinct
Launch Theme: Ancestral Communication
We open in the spirit of Samhain and Día de los Muertos — honouring the dead not with mourning, but with dialogue. Through music, breath, and movement, we’ll explore:
- Boundary crossing – exploring who we were and who we’re becoming
- Inner communion – listening to the body-mind, patterns, and inheritances that move through us
- Reclaiming — taking back what’s ours: story, lineage, body, voice. in the moment, in each step. We choose.
Soulful, tribal, and deep grooving rhythms will hold the container. No steps to learn. No one watching. Just you, the floor, and inspiration rising within you.
